The collision between the Heart of the Forge and the Planetary Fortress easily tore them both apart.

Compared with other Mechanicus Ships, the Titan Ship followed a fundamentally different template. No matter how a vessel of this size was designed, it would contain vast numbers of compartments, and these compartments, which served little purpose for the Men of Iron, became its sole weakness in the collision.

The Planetary Fortress had thick layers of earth and enormous mechanical structures built by the Orks covering its exterior. Although the Federation's materials science was extraordinarily advanced, the Heart of the Forge was ultimately not a ship designed for ramming.

The two Annihilation Cannons and the forward bow shattered. The ship, equipped with life-support systems, began leaking its synthetic atmosphere.

Metal fragments of every kind scattered everywhere.

Even the mounting points of the newly installed Super-Mass Driver developed small cracks.

Although the exterior looked devastated, the Heart of the Forge had actually sustained far less damage than it appeared.

The 55% fault warning mainly came from the Orks conducting their Boarding Action.

Large numbers of Orks, vehicles, and equipment lodged in various parts of the hull prevented many self-diagnostic modules from functioning properly.
