Hearing this rather baffling title, Jaghatai Khan froze for a moment.
What had happened to the Imperium?
Guilliman had become Regent?
What was he trying to do? Take their father's place?
"Tell me, which of our other brothers are still around?!"
Jaghatai had no time to puzzle over the source of this strange voice, but some troubling suspicions had begun to form.
The voice over the vox array quickly answered the Khan's question.
"Analysis complete. Probable subjects of inquiry: other loyalist Primarchs of the Imperium."
"Primarchs currently active within the Imperium: Roboute Guilliman, Lion El'Jonson, Vulkan."
Jaghatai's expression shifted slightly when he heard that Lion El'Jonson was still around, but it turned rather strange at the mention of Vulkan.
There had once been some strange rumors in the Imperium.
Guilliman, Lion El'Jonson, and Sanguinius had undertaken certain dangerous actions, acts almost as blasphemous as those of the Traitors.
Hearing the title of Imperial Regent, Jaghatai even began to suspect that those rumors might have been true.
Especially when he heard that Lion El'Jonson was around as well.
But at the mention of Vulkan's name, Jaghatai quietly exhaled.
Whatever happened, the Lord of Drakes would never reach for power.
A Primarch who had not even wanted to take command of his own Legion could hardly attempt to rule the Imperium. There was most likely another explanation for the title of Imperial Regent.
Having worked that out, Jaghatai finally turned his attention to the massive warship outside the Stormbird's viewport.
"Then who are you? If you know this much, you must have ties to the Imperium. Report your identity to me."
