Queen of the Snake-People Tribe

Before receiving her personal name, Cai Ling rules as Queen Medusa. Her tribe had been forced out of the Heavenly Snake Empire and confined to the Tagor Desert, where it struggled among neighboring human empires. She seeks cold-attribute treasures and intends to attain Dou Zong before invading the Mulan Empire and securing its grasslands 65 103.

When Chi Ling reports that Mulan Valley nearly killed his daughter Chi Mei in a scheme to provoke war with the Jia Ma Empire, Medusa orders two clans transferred to the eastern front. She also takes interest in Chu Zhou, whose rescue of Chi Mei and rapidly developing alchemy make him a promising ally 65.

Alliance, Evolution, and Naming

Medusa supports the tribe’s cooperation with Chu Zhou. After examining his Three-Pattern Green Spirit Pills, she honors her promise to supply fifth-grade pills, formulas, and ingredients despite the strain on tribal reserves. Chu Zhou later becomes the tribe’s Guardian Worshiper 77 81.
