Charle made his way through Diagon Alley, then, familiar with the route, slipped into the entrance of a deep, shadowy alley.
The vampire following behind him felt a surge of delight at the sight.
He had been worried that, amid the bustling crowds of Diagon Alley, he would have no way to make a move against Charle.
After all, this was within Dumbledore's range of response at any moment. Who knew whether Dumbledore might be in Diagon Alley buying sweets?
And if he ran into a few stronger wizards who delayed him for even a short while, then once Dumbledore arrived, he would be completely finished.
Yet before he had even figured out how to abduct Charle, Charle had slipped into a secluded alley all by himself?
"I remember this alley."
The vampire muttered under his breath.
"This seems to be Knockturn Alley, where Britain's Dark wizards gather."
"It'll be much more convenient to act here."
"Heh, I remember young wizards are warned not to come into this alley. I didn't expect this little wizard named Charle to come anyway."
"Curiosity? Or rebellion?"
"It doesn't matter. This naughty child is about to receive a lesson he'll never forget for the rest of his life."
The vampire immediately picked up his pace, quickly followed Charle, and entered Knockturn Alley as well.
After Charle entered Knockturn Alley, the atmosphere within the alley became unusually heavy.
The instant Knockturn Alley's residents saw Charle, their bodies stiffened, as if they had once again recalled the sensation of being planted in the mud like potatoes.
They groaned inwardly.
How long had it even been? This little monster had just ransacked Knockturn Alley, so why was he back again?
He wasn't going to do it all over again, was he?!
They were truly broke beyond belief.
