Sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, scattering dappled light across the bedroom. Tang Wulin finally gathered himself and climbed out of bed. After the Blue Silver Emperor's second awakening, his body had undergone earth-shaking changes. His original black hair was completely gone, replaced by long Blue-Gold locks that cascaded like a waterfall.
His hair was translucent and gleaming, as though forged from the purest sapphires and gold, shimmering with a dreamlike luster in the morning light. When he stood, its astonishing volume and length fell all the way to his thighs. It swayed gently with his movements like a flowing river of light, making his already exquisitely beautiful face seem even more bewitching and divine.
"I... I'm dressed. Let's go out before Zheng Yu and the others get tired of waiting." Tang Wulin tugged awkwardly at the hem of his clothes, his magnificent hair tracing an elegant arc through the air.
"What's the rush?"
Gu Yue lounged against the headboard, her violet eyes half-lidded as she watched the elf-like, beautiful boy before her. She reached out and pulled Tang Wulin back just as he was about to leave.
"Look at your hair. It's as messy as a bird's nest." Gu Yue chided him softly, though her voice brimmed with affection. "Sit down. I'll brush it for you."
Tang Wulin paused, then obediently sat in the chair before the dressing table. He lowered his eyes, his long lashes trembling slightly. His Blue-Gold hair slid down the back of the chair and spread across the floor, breathtakingly beautiful.
Standing behind him, Gu Yue picked up a jade comb and gently slipped it into his silken locks.
"Ah..." Tang Wulin shrank his neck slightly at the faint tug on his scalp.
"Stay still," Gu Yue scolded softly, though her hands grew even gentler.
