On the top floor of the Sea God Pavilion, the night breeze swept through the hall, stirring the curtains by the window. Yun Ming stood before the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, gazing down at Shrek Academy beneath the night sky, his brows slightly furrowed.

"Of the Dark Four Heavenly Kings, I personally think Dark Blood Demon and Dark Hummingbird are beyond saving."

Yun Ming's voice was low, carrying an unquestionable resolve. "Darkness has completely devoured their hearts. Their hands are stained with the blood of far too many innocents. Those sins can never be washed away."

He paused and turned, his gaze settling on Leng Yaozhu, who sat on the sofa. His eyes softened a little. "But the other two, Leng Yulai and Na Nali, should still have a slim chance of being saved. Especially Yulai... she may act like a madwoman, but her reasons for taking this path were different from the others'. She did it out of love. Though that love has twisted into hatred, as long as the roots remain, there's hope of bringing her back."

Leng Yaozhu listened quietly. She wore a simple, elegant dress. The years seemed to have left few traces on her face, instead lending her a mature grace.

At the mention of Leng Yulai, she sighed softly, rose, and walked over to Yun Ming, gently taking his hand.

"Don't worry. Leave Yulai to me."

Leng Yaozhu's voice was firm yet gentle. "She's my younger sister, after all. The same blood runs through our veins. Though she hates me and hates this world, I believe the bond of blood thicker than water, together with your guidance, might truly awaken that last shred of conscience deep in her heart."

Yun Ming looked at Leng Yaozhu, a flicker of guilt and gratitude passing through his eyes.
