Chapter Summaries

While the nations held back from attacking the Land of Fire, Madara tested his new Sage techniques and claimed he had surpassed his prime. On Blue Moon Island, Orochimaru finished preparing to install the Core of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path into Sasuke’s Susanoo.

• The four Kage persuaded their daimyo to abandon plans to invade the Land of Fire after warning them about Madara, while Shixiu ordered Konoha rebuilt and called for Asuma to protect him.
• Madara developed Sage Art: Dark Curse Yin Lightning and demonstrated his power by slicing apart two meteorites and flattening waves with Sage Wave Wind Festival.
• Madara declared that he had surpassed his prime and wondered whether Sasuke would surprise him in the Ten Battles’ main event three days later.
