Kāye recalled how Kagami’s death drove him to abandon Konoha and hide with the eyes, leaving his fate in Orochimaru’s hands.

  • Kāye used Adamantine Sealing Chains, Wood Release, and Susanoo to restrain Orochimaru, accusing him of killing Danzo to learn where Kagami’s eyes were hidden.
  • Orochimaru broke free with the Hundred-Release Seal and countered Kāye’s Susanoo with the Nine-Tails, threatening the village with a Tailed Beast Bomb.

  • Nagato reached the Hidden Door, discovered that a sealing jutsu prevented him from moving its blocks, and used the Preta Path’s Absorption Seal to disable it.
  • Nagato dismantled the blocks, found a chamber filled with Sharingan, and used Banshō Ten'in to retrieve the cabinet labeled Fugaku.

Ch. 118Unexpected, yet perfectly natural!

  • Jugo used Vasavatti to make Killer B’s partly formed Tailed Beast Bomb explode in the Eight-Tails’ mouth, injuring the Eight-Tails.
  • Jugo explained that Vasavatti caused possible misfortunes to occur for one minute and urged the others to finish the fight within the remaining forty seconds.

Ch. 120Bishamonten!

Kisame and Suigetsu defeated Killer B and the Eight-Tails, with Suigetsu discovering that his right-eye dōjutsu granted good fortune. As Obito moved to capture the unconscious Killer B, Suigetsu attacked him, but his blade passed through Obito.

  • Kisame blinded the Eight-Tails in one eye and battered him with Samehada while Suigetsu survived Killer B's Tailed Beast Bomb by merging with underground water.
