Kankuro stared at Chōjūrō, who stood a head shorter than him and held a sword almost as tall as himself, blocking the twin blades of the Father and Mother Puppets!
"You little runt... you haven't even hit puberty yet, have you? Swinging a sword that long, aren't you afraid you'll throw your back out?!"
Chōjūrō spoke firmly despite his timid tone. "D-don't judge me by my looks. I'm already seventeen!!"
Temari parried Darui of Kumogakure's greatsword with her iron fan!
Facing off against Kurotsuchi, Shikaku glanced sideways. "Temari, you've gotten much more agile since the Chunin Ninja Exams. That boy Shikamaru might not be a match for you anymore!"
Temari's pretty face flushed. "Not at all, sir. Shikamaru wins with his wits. I still have a long way to go..."
Kurotsuchi grinned. "Hey, old man, I hear you're the smartest person in the shinobi world. Mind letting me see how your brain is put together?"
Shikaku remained easygoing. "Ah, Lord Tsuchikage's granddaughter, Miss Kurotsuchi. What a frightening thing to say!"
Mifune spoke up to calm the situation. "This summit of the Five Kage is being held in a neutral nation. Please exercise restraint!"
Tsunade said, "Shikaku, Inoichi, stand down!"
Gaara said, "Temari, Kankuro, you stand down too."
Mei Terumi said, "Ao, Chōjūrō, there's no need to worry."
Ōnoki signaled Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi with his eyes!
A said, "Hmph, Darui, Shi, calm yourselves as well!!!"
The guards each withdrew behind their respective tables.
A began demanding answers. "Konoha, Iwagakure, Sunagakure, Kirigakure—the members of the Akatsuki were all originally rogue ninja from your villages! And that's not all. Some of your former Kage even made use of the Akatsuki!"
