Seeing Qingyun nod, Kushina looked into the Nine-Tails' expectant eyes. "Nine-Tails, can I trust you?"
"Hmph, you brat. If it weren't for Qingyun, I'd never agree to get along with you. But if you annoy me in the future, I'll eat you."
The Nine-Tails answered Kushina with a haughty air.
It was Kushina's first time seeing the Nine-Tails act like this, and she burst out laughing.
"Then can I call you Kurama from now on, like Qingyun does?"
As Kushina spoke, she loosened the Adamantine Sealing Chains binding the Nine-Tails.
She had heard the entire conversation between Qingyun and the Nine-Tails. Though she did not understand how Qingyun knew so much, she trusted that he would never hurt her. Besides, since his conversation with Qingyun, much of the Nine-Tails' intense hostility had faded, and she had slowly begun to accept him.
"Whatever!"
Perhaps because he and Kushina had always traded insults before, the Nine-Tails felt uncomfortable with this new way of getting along. His voice sounded a little awkward.
"Hehe."
Seeing his expression, Kushina grinned at the haughty Nine-Tails. Then the girl and the fox began chatting.
Qingyun watched with a smile as Kushina enjoyed herself, without interrupting their interaction. Only after a long while did Kushina end her first peaceful conversation with the Nine-Tails and pull Qingyun out of the seal space with her.
After they came out, Qingyun accompanied Kushina shopping. Having spent so long at the Senju Ancestral Estate, she had not gone shopping in ages. After the earlier incident, Danzo's Root had also stopped watching her.
Having witnessed Qingyun's tremendous strength, Hiruzen Sarutobi also ordered the ANBU to withdraw now that Qingyun was with her, giving the two of them time alone.
