Sand Ninja Village
Qingyun paused what he was doing when he heard the system notification. Just then, a ninja hawk overhead gave three long cries and one short one.
Cat Demon's expression changed at the hawk's call, and she shouted, "Assemble!"
Qingyun and the others immediately assembled, along with the five members of the Seventh Division's other squad.
"Greedy Wolf, come with me to the Hokage's Office. Everyone else, wait outside the Hokage Building. Move out."
After giving the order, Cat Demon promptly turned and raced toward the Hokage Building. Her brisk, decisive manner was completely unlike her usual alluring demeanor.
Qingyun and the others immediately followed Cat Demon, racing toward the Hokage Building. Unlike the other ANBU ninja, who ran with their arms stretched behind them, Qingyun’s Movement Technique was graceful. His steps appeared short, yet each one carried him a considerable distance forward. He looked far more relaxed than the other ninja.
Some of the ninja who had never met Qingyun watched his back curiously, wondering who he was and when someone like him had joined their division.
Qingyun ignored the ninja behind him and followed Cat Demon, maintaining a distance of exactly five meters, no more and no less.
Cat Demon’s eyes lit up at Qingyun’s graceful Movement Technique. He had never displayed this during training. Seeing it now stirred her competitive spirit, and she channeled chakra into her feet before abruptly accelerating.
Qingyun smiled faintly. With his hands clasped behind his back and no visible change in his movements, his speed suddenly surged. He remained exactly five meters behind Cat Demon.
The ANBU compound was not far from the Hokage Building, and with Cat Demon and Qingyun competing, they soon arrived.
"Greedy Wolf, I didn't know you had that up your sleeve. Could you teach me
