Everyone spent the day having fun. Once the two boys, Kakashi and Might Guy, had firmly memorized the breathing method Qingyun taught them, they happily ran off to one side and made a bet on who would master it first.

The love-hate rivalry between Kakashi and Might Guy began that very moment. Throughout their lives, they were either making bets or on their way to making bets, with every imaginable kind of wager.

Their bond deepened with every bet. Anyone who didn't know better might have thought they had come down from Brokeback Mountain...

After a day of fun, everyone went their separate ways. Qingyun and Minato Namikaze cleaned up the mess, then sat cross-legged to cultivate their Internal Arts.

Qingyun appeared to be cultivating his Internal Arts, but in truth, he closed his eyes and separated out a thread of internal force, circulating it along the route prescribed by the Nine Yin General Outline.

Unfortunately, every thread of Nine Yin Internal Force he produced was devoured by his Nine Yang True Energy. He tried for more than half the night without achieving anything. Instead, dividing his attention between suppressing his Nine Yang True Energy and practicing the Nine Yin General Outline left him mentally exhausted.

In the middle of the night, everything around him was silent, with the occasional cry of a wild Beast reaching his ears.

Qingyun opened his eyes in frustration and looked into the darkness around him, his gaze full of impatience.
