"This is Shisui Uchiha. You can take him away."
Karatachi Yagura spoke casually, seemingly unconcerned.
"Lord Mizukage, forgive my impertinence." Kakashi glanced at the body, then asked Karatachi Yagura, "May I examine him?"
Karatachi Yagura gestured for him to go ahead.
Kakashi then signaled to the specialists among the Anbu to conduct a thorough examination of the deathly pale corpse.
"Identity confirmed. This is Shisui Uchiha himself. There are a few peculiarities with his body, though. Those strange patches of white flesh appear to have undergone some kind of treatment, but regardless, he is confirmed dead... most importantly, however, his Sharingan are still intact."
Before long, the Anbu finished their examination and gave Kakashi that report.
In truth, Kakashi was deeply shocked.
Shisui had lost one of his Sharingan. Itachi had once let that slip to him. But according to what they had learned earlier, Shisui had also participated in the Uchiha Clan Massacre, so obtaining another eye for a transplant afterward could not have been difficult.
