"The Uchiha name I bear doesn't belong here."
Sasuke's words all but rejected these Uchiha outright, yet Izumi showed no reaction. If anything, she seemed to have expected his answer.
"Then what about Uchiha Itachi?"
Izumi spoke softly.
"I'll kill him! I've thought it through. It isn't for the so-called Uchiha Clan, but for my own family!"
After a moment of silence, Sasuke answered Izumi's original question. As though deliberately driving his point home, he turned his gaze toward the ruins behind her.
"There's no question about that. But I don't need help from these losers who disgrace the Uchiha name. They can worry about themselves. This revenge is mine alone to bear."
Sasuke didn't hesitate at all.
"Is that your answer?"
Unlike the clansmen who looked furious at Sasuke's answer and his calling them losers, Uchiha Izumi was more surprised by his attitude.
Sasuke isn't lost... he's already resolved to bear it alone.
"Sasuke Uchiha..."
Uchiha Shinji and the others, sitting sprawled on the ground, seemed to want to say more. But after finishing, Sasuke ignored them entirely, suddenly looked up, and called into the air, "Hey, how much longer are you going to hide? Come out."
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, a blond figure appeared beside him with the Body Flicker Technique.
His expression was unlike anyone else's there.
His carefree grin looked completely out of place amid the solemn atmosphere.
He was also dangling an unconscious Sunagakure ninja from one hand.

Seeing the Konoha forehead protector on Naruto's brow, Uchiha Shinji froze where he sat on the ground, exchanging looks with the other Uchiha.
They hadn't even known Sasuke had a companion watching nearby, which only made their ambush look even more ridiculous.
"Long time no see, Older
