After that came endless battles and countless troubles. This sort of plain, tedious chakra training seemed like something from the distant past.
Yet the version of himself before him had clearly awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan as well, and he could tell that the boy was genuinely working at his training, one steady step at a time.
Though they were both Sasuke and shared some similarities in temperament, his own hunger for power at this age seemed to have been a little more "intense" than this boy's.
