"Reshape wants to attend the Shinobi World Conference?"
The proposal truly caught Naruto off guard.
"Hasn't Konoha been saying lately that it welcomes every faction in the shinobi world to the conference? Reshape may not normally interact with the shinobi world, but we're still part of it. Or are you saying that you and Konoha don't welcome me or the members of my organization, Naruto-kun?"
The Reshape leader's words reminded Naruto of Minato's earlier instructions.
This Shinobi World Conference, initiated by the Hokage, was genuinely open to every faction in the shinobi world. They wanted as much of the world involved as possible, and at this conference, even past allegiances and questions of right and wrong would be set aside.
So even when it came to Reshape, Naruto's answer was clear.
"Of course you can attend. It's just..." Naruto paused. "As Kurama asked earlier, it's an indisputable fact that you suddenly appeared after we defeated Urashiki Otsutsuki, tried to attack me, and took his eyes. Until your intentions are clear, I can't trust you any more than Kurama can."
"Attack you..."
The Reshape leader narrowed his eyes slightly, as though he disagreed, but after a moment's thought, he nodded instead of arguing.
"I do owe you an explanation for that, though I had thought everyone might be satisfied if I simply handed over Orochimaru, who caused Konoha such losses."
Officially, Orochimaru and Kabuto Yakushi were both S-Rank wanted criminals who had launched an attack during Konoha's Chunin Ninja Exams. And because those exams had ultimately led to Konoha, with the Nine-Tails at the forefront, wreaking havoc in the other Four Great Shinobi Villages and causing incalculable losses, everyone else had laid that debt at Orochimaru's feet as well.
It was fair to say that if the Reshape Organization hadn't appeared
