Izumi lifted the tent flap and glanced inside. "Why are you the only one here?"
"I thought you wouldn't come back."
Menma sat alone in a chair, his tone somewhat hostile.
"Does Konoha still want to use you to dig up information?"
"No. Sasuke told me not to come back either."
"Then why did you..."
Izumi stepped forward, gathering up the broken cups, chairs, and other debris along the way.
"I failed to complete the organization's mission, so I came to accept my punishment."
"?"
Menma paused at her words, clearly not expecting that answer.
He wasn't wearing his mask now. He looked at Izumi. "You certainly take this little make-believe organization seriously."
"I did put some effort into it, after all. Where are the others?"
Izumi looked around as she asked.
"Looks like you've already cut ties with the Uchiha Clan. You're actually starting to care about other people."
"I don't know. I left all of that to... Flying Wheel."
"...Shouldn't you know? Don't all the Reshape Organization's members have your chakra inside them, allowing you to sense our thoughts?"
Izumi came up beside Menma, sounding puzzled.
Menma turned to look at her, and at that very instant, her eyes changed.
The pattern of the Mangekyō Sharingan appeared in her pupils.
"Stop."
Menma's tone was calm, betraying no emotion at all.
Izumi saw a blur, and two fingers stopped right in front of her eyes.

Menma withdrew his fingers, waved a hand, and rose to leave.
"Uchiha Itachi left those to you. Don't force me to destroy them."
