Kakuzu returned to the village.
"Uncle Kakuzu, is this really okay? Those are actual phones," Orochimaru asked in confusion when he saw Kakuzu return.
"It's fine. Those are our phones, but their phones use our system too. All the money the villagers in Kumogakure spend will still end up in our hands," Kakuzu said with a faint smile.

"Uncle Dave told me before that you were no good piece of work, Uncle Kakuzu, and that I should stay away from you. Uh, no good person. I didn't believe him at first, but it turns out you really are no good piece of work—ptui, person," Orochimaru said in a trembling voice, swallowing.
As he watched Orochimaru hastily flee, Kakuzu's raised hand and half-open mouth trembled slightly...
He was just following the boss's orders... What did any of this have to do with him...?
A few days later...
"Dave!" Hashirama stared at Dave with wide eyes.
Dave was utterly baffled...
"I'm going to reassert my authority as a husband! This is for Konoha!!"
Then Hashirama charged into his house,
