The next day, at the Hokage Building.
"Hey, in-law, made it to work, huh?" Dave called out in greeting when he saw Danzo with dark circles under both eyes.
Danzo turned a murderous glare on Dave, who immediately shut his mouth and obediently retreated to his office...
When it was time for the meeting, Dave and Kagami had both arrived...
"Where's Hiruzen?" Danzo asked Kagami.
"Hiruzen? No idea. He's usually right on time. Could something have come up with the ANBU today?" Kagami asked, puzzled.
"This meeting mainly concerns his ANBU. What the hell are we supposed to discuss without him? Call him," Danzo said in exasperation.
Just as Kagami was about to call Hiruzen, Hiruzen finally arrived...
"What happened today?" Danzo asked, puzzled by Hiruzen's hurried appearance.
"Uh... my wife's pregnant." Hiruzen smiled awkwardly and scratched his head.
"..."
"What can I say... Hiruzen... you're still... tsk... well... vigorous in your old age," Dave said with an awkward smile, equally stunned.
"Let's leave that for later. We'll go over to your house tonight and see Biwako. Meeting first." Danzo tapped the table.
"There are four main points on today's agenda. First, good news has arrived from the Land of Iron. They've completely repelled Hanzo of the Salamander. That's good news for our ally, the Land of Iron, but not for us." Danzo slowly surveyed the three men, skipping over Dave.
"Hanzō's campaign against the Land of Iron failed, so he'll be turning his full attention to Konoha next. Does anyone have anything to say?"
"No. I believe Orochimaru and the others can handle it." Dave nodded.
"Kagami, Hiruzen, do either of you have anything to say?" Danzo asked the other two.
"No. I also think Orochimaru and the others can handle it."
"Good. Then the second point: the Sunagakure
