The wedding ended.
Danzo watched his precious daughter being led away, his lone eye red.
"All right, in-law, stop staring. Let the newlyweds have some time alone." Dave walked up beside Danzo, slung an arm over his shoulder, and spoke with a broad smile.
Hearing that irritating voice, Danzo turned and looked at him expressionlessly.
"Tch, what are you staring at me for? What, want to have a few more drinks?" Dave asked, puzzled.
"Since they've gone off to enjoy some time alone, why don't we head to the Valley of the End and enjoy some time alone ourselves?" Danzo placed his left hand on Dave's shoulder and asked with a faint smile.
"Let's pass on that... We should each go home to our own wives, right...?" Dave said, already preparing to make his escape.
"Hey, don't say that. Let's go have a nice, long chat at the Valley of the End." Danzo grabbed Dave, smiling broadly.
The next day...
Orochimaru and the others replenished their equipment and set out for the battlefield again.
"Orochimaru, Hanzō sent us a challenge." Tsunade entered the tent, took out a letter, and handed it to Orochimaru.
Orochimaru opened it and read it, then gave a slight grin.
"He wants the three of us to face him tomorrow morning in the clearing three hundred meters east of Amegakure. If we win, this war with Amegakure will pretty much be over. Looks like that big gift we gave him yesterday put him in quite a good mood," Orochimaru said with a cold smile.
"Then let's get ready and knock that bastard's head clean off tomorrow." Jiraiya rubbed his hands eagerly.
"I'll be happy as long as you don't summon two old toads and then do nothing." Orochimaru turned toward him disdainfully.
"Hey, you bastard! What's
