Daiyue arranged a place for Romeo Dai to stay, and Sasori went off with his parents, happier than he had ever been since birth.
Daiyue took his son out for a stroll. He had been away all these years and had missed so much of Obito's life. Father and son had chatted more often over their phones than face-to-face, and Daiyue truly felt guilty.
"Obito, what would you like to eat? Dad will take you," Daiyue asked, looking at Obito with a gentle smile.
"I want barbecue! Uh, Eight-Tails barbecue!" Obito said excitedly.
"Okay, Dad will take you."
The Eight-Tails Barbecue Shop...
"Hey, Gyuki, long time no see. Could you get us a table?" Daiyue walked into the shop and cheerfully greeted the little Gyuki sitting on the counter.
"Daiyue, you're back! Long time no see. Don't worry, even if we're full, I'll kick someone out to get you a table," little Gyuki replied with an equally cheerful smile.
"Hahaha, no need for that."
Then a waiter led Daiyue and Obito to their seats.
"Hey, Father, look. Aren't those my aunt and Uncle Fugaku?" Obito looked around, then pointed at the two familiar figures nearby.
"Oh, that brat Fugaku still hasn't given up. Hahahaha! Your aunt just keeps getting prettier, too," Daiyue said with a laugh, looking in the direction Obito pointed.
"Should we go say hello, Father?"
"No. Opportunities like this don't come easily for your Uncle Fugaku. Let's not disturb them."
Elsewhere...
"Mikoto, eat some more, have some more. Oh, you like this, right? Gyuki! Bring more of this Grilled Squid! Mikoto likes it! Hurry up! Or I'll shut your shop down!" Fugaku fussed frantically with his hands, his mouth just as busy.
