[The Shinobi World's Second Sports Games, also known as the Second Ninja People's Games, is a worldwide multisport event hosted by Konoha's Hokage Building government and organized by the Konoha Ninja Department and the Konoha Sports Department. It is the largest and most influential sporting event in Konoha and throughout the world, held once every forty years. This competition will feature over a hundred events, including 138 sporting events for adults, seniors, teenagers, young children, and other age groups, as well as 94 shinobi sporting events, with over 700 gold medals to be awarded. The competition will begin next month, in August, and conclude in October, lasting three months in total. The events will take place on our village's Konoha Star.
The purpose of this event is to fully implement the Konoha Hokage Building's policy that all the world's people are one family, including the spirit of its "Decision on Further Accelerating Sports Reform and Development." It will fully harness the diverse functions of a multisport event in promoting economic development and social progress, raise awareness of participation in sports among people worldwide, and advance the implementation of the "National Fitness Program Outline"; it will also promote improvements in our village's overall competitive sporting strength and standards, contributing to the full implementation of the "Ninja Olympic Glory Program Outline." Through this event, we can deepen reform of the sports system, select promising talent, lay a solid foundation, discover and supply qualified, outstanding reserve talent of international caliber, advocate participation above all, uphold the principles of fairness, openness, and impartiality in competition, emphasize the benefits of the competition, compete with style and skill, establish an image of integrity in sports, and strive to promote and develop our village's sporting endeavors and build a sporting powerhouse.
