The next morning.
Bursts of goofy laughter drifted through Daiyue's house from time to time.
"Just look at your son. Aren't you going to do something about him?" Hearing the noises coming from his room first thing in the morning, Yuner shook her head helplessly and looked at Daiyue.
"What's there to do? I think he's doing just fine, isn't he?" Daiyue shook his head with a chuckle, opening the news on his phone with one hand and sipping tea with the other.
"Here. Are you sure you aren't going to do something about him?" Yuner irritably pulled something out of a pants pocket and tossed it at Daiyue.
Without even looking up, Daiyue reached out and caught it.
"Oh, come on, he's a kid. Weren't we all like that when we were little? Yuner, have a little faith in Obito... Hm? What did you just throw me?" Daiyue smiled reassuringly, then looked down at the object in his hand.
"A grenade. I found it in the pants your son took off yesterday to be washed," Yuner said casually.
"Holy shit!"
Daiyue looked at the grenade in his hand and realized its safety pin had already been pulled. He vanished in a flash.
Only after an explosion rang out from Konoha Back Mountain that morning did the flash reappear in the house.
"Well? Are you sure you still aren't going to do something about him?" Yuner asked with a smile.
"...I'll go talk to him." Seeing that his wife wasn't going to let this go, Daiyue could only shake his head helplessly and head for Obito's room.
He walked up to Obito's door and knocked.
"Obito, wake up. Your father wants to talk to you," Daiyue called as he knocked.
