But he was in no mood to laugh at their touching display of grandfather-grandson devotion.
Mu picked up his phone and looked at the six-digit balance on the screen, his heart filled with both bitterness and excitement.
"I'm heading to Amegakure to invest. Want to come along?" With the money in hand, Mu's tone changed instantly as he asked with a chuckle.
"But I have a date later," Obito said, scratching his head in indecision.
"Hah, kid, this is all you'll ever amount to. Not a shred of ambition. No wonder your grandpa keeps telling me you're a hopeless case," Mu said scornfully.
"Who's a hopeless case?! Let's go! Forget the date! I'll show you!" Mu's taunt made Obito's eyes turn scarlet, even bringing out his Sharingan.
