"What?!" Fugaku's eyes blazed scarlet, his intimidating Mangekyo fixed on Orochimaru before him. His hands trembled uncontrollably against the desk he had slammed them onto.
"Ahem, Fugaku, I understand how badly you want to get married, but we can't ignore the situation at the Border Police Department anymore." Orochimaru slowly lowered his head, afraid to meet Fugaku's gaze.
Although he had little interest in that sort of thing, his instinctive physical response as a man left him a little frightened, unwilling to look Fugaku in the eye.
"Why me?!" Fugaku ground his teeth, tears spilling involuntarily from his eyes.
After all these years, he was finally one step away. Why had this bullshit suddenly happened now?!
