Temari watched Gaara disappear before her eyes and questioned Kankuro beside her in disbelief, but he, too, wore a dazed expression of utter shock.
"Hey, you two, why not just surrender? Gaara alone scares you this badly. Maybe the reason he can't make any friends is because you're so weak."
Before Temari and Kankuro could recover from what had just happened, Naruto Uzumaki appeared before them with a confident grin.
"You brat, we'll kill you! What do you know? The monster inside Gaara isn't something a human can defeat. However happy you are now, you'll be crying just as hard when you see Sasuke's corpse!"
After Naruto repeatedly mocked the two of them for being weak, Kankuro snapped back in fury. At the same time, his puppet fired several Poison Needles at Naruto.
"Sasuke won't die, and there's no monster in this world that humans can't defeat. You frogs in Sunagakure's well should stop acting like you know everything."
The grin vanished from Naruto's face, and his gaze sharpened when he heard Kankuro say Sasuke would die. He nimbly dodged Kankuro's Poison Needles, then immediately formed hand seals.
