The mountainside of Bull-Head Mountain had long since become a slaughterhouse.
The earth split and the mountain crumbled.
From a distance, an inverted Sea of blood descended from the sky, enveloping half of Bull-Head Mountain.
Within that Sea of blood were four beings, one large and three small.
The large one was the Blood Bodhisattva in the sky. The three small ones were the local Mountain God, Lin Feng, on the ground; the Underworld Uncanny—the Five-Powers Immortal (Corpse); and the Great Exorcist Immortal Embryo, who specialized in witchcraft and gu sorcery.
Each of the three sustained a patch of "Pure Land," keeping themselves from falling into the Sea of blood and being devoured by the Blood Bodhisattva.
Among the four forces, friend and foe kept changing.
They allied in pairs, only to suddenly betray each other.
Now, the thousand-eyed, hundred-armed Bodhisattva A Lu Hun, who had not originally been the strongest, overpowered them all.
At the fiercest point of the battle, the Great Exorcist and Lin Feng had both struck Corpse with killing curses. Their unfathomable Witchcraft had dealt Corpse a heavy blow, and in a moment of carelessness, Corpse had been parasitized by Bodhisattva A Lu Hun's Red-Line Worms.
The infestation itself was not the problem. The problem was that a trace of the Red-Line Worms' aura had tainted Corpse's body, giving Bodhisattva A Lu Hun an opening.
That alone forced Corpse to abandon offense for defense.
Otherwise, Bodhisattva A Lu Hun would consume Corpse completely.

The low, hollow chanting of the Land God Incantation continually echoed around them. The wronged souls of the dead on Lin Feng's body merged with the wind and took the form of Chi You, who kept driving back the surrounding Sea of blood to maintain a
