Lin Feng glanced at the moving mass of flesh carrying the people away and saw the calf-sized Hunting Dogs chasing it frantically.
Their barking was deafening.
Yet no one came out to see what was happening.
The Hunting Dogs kept a safe distance.
But that mass of flesh was clearly no ordinary thing. Before leaving, it dragged several Hunting Dogs away with it. The dogs let out mournful howls, powerless to struggle.
Lin Feng had no idea what it was, either.
[Qi-Observing Eye: Fleeting Glimpse]
It had no fortune.
But it did have a name.
[Immortal Dregs]
This was Lin Feng's first time seeing such a thing. Immortal Dregs?
This thing is Immortal Dregs? Does it know the immortal embryo, then?
If it does, what's the relationship between them?
The Immortal Dregs quickly passed through the jungle and vanished.
All of this happened in a flash. After watching the Immortal Dregs flee, Lin Feng turned his gaze back to the beautiful woman's head before him.
This was no flying-head barbarian.
Nor was it some dark art from the South Seas.
It had a woman's face. Lin Feng was beginning to understand why Stink had warned him not to provoke the female beasts.
"There's no difference between humans and animals."
Those were Fifth Uncle's exact words.
Looking at the head, he saw that it was not merely a head. It seemed to be a complete system.
There were no bones beneath her head, but there was a windpipe, a heart, liver, spleen, stomach, kidneys, intestines, an abdomen, and even a womb that appeared to contain a half-formed embryo.
None of these things were where they belonged.
They hung loose and scattered, obeying the laws of physics, tangled together as foul-smelling fluid dripped from them.
Such a thing.
