Holding a paper cup of hot water, Xu Nian did not understand what their Intent was.

She repeated the question word by word.

Her expression was genuinely bewildered.

The two men exchanged an almost imperceptible glance. One stood beside the head of Xu Nian's bed, while the other remained seated in a chair beside her and continued questioning her.

"Yes, that's right. That's still what we're asking.

Can you remember how you got down from the mountain?"

Xu Nian still looked utterly confused.

Seeing the young woman's expression, the two men in the room exchanged another glance. The one holding a notebook took out his phone and asked, "Do you know what day it is?"

Xu Nian shook her head.

The man turned his phone screen toward Xu Nian, and she sluggishly checked the date.

The man tapped his phone a few more times and handed it to Xu Nian. She glanced at it and saw news reports from several days ago.
