After their discussion, Kagami Uchiha had never expected them to come up with a secret mission, much less one of the highest rank in the entire shinobi world. For now, only he and Kazemori Masaki knew about it, though others might join them in the future. The mission would undoubtedly be extremely difficult, because they did not even know the enemy's true identity.
"Masaki, do you think the enemy is an organization passed down through generations, or just a few individuals?" Kagami Uchiha asked.
"I don't know. I'd prefer it to be just a handful of people, since that would make them easier to deal with. Judging by the fact that the power they actually possess isn't particularly great, the latter seems more likely," Kazemori Masaki said.
"But if they could alter our clan's stone tablet, they must have some unique abilities. That ability to move unseen, for instance, is almost impossible to guard against," Kagami Uchiha said.
"That's why I think we should lure them out. Waiting would leave us far too passive. Once they hide in the shadows, we won't be able to find them again." Kazemori Masaki shook his head slightly. "And once they appear, we have to kill them in a single strike. Whether we can actually do that, though, is another question."
Kagami Uchiha nodded slightly. If they assumed the enemy had special abilities, they also had to consider some degree of immortality. The shinobi world had no shortage of strange secret techniques like that. There were countless ways to feign death, from shifting the internal organs slightly to deceive an opponent to other secret techniques. Even Konoha Ninja Village could not collect every secret technique in the shinobi world.
