Seeing Ryoma retreat, the Daimyo looked satisfied. Although the samurai had not beaten Ryoma, they had only trained for about three months. Under normal circumstances, they would have been knocked flat long ago, yet now they could last several exchanges. With more training, their strength would surely become even more impressive.
At that thought, the Daimyo grew increasingly pleased with Tobi's performance. Though his origins were unknown, he had solved many of the Daimyo's problems. As long as Tobi could train a sufficiently powerful corps of Chakra Samurai, even a thousand would be enough to threaten Konoha Ninja Village.
Seeing Tobi extend an invitation to the Konoha ninja, the Daimyo gently waved his fan and turned his gaze toward them, asking with interest, "Don't the ninja of Konoha want to give it a try?"
They exchanged glances and soon reached an understanding. They were all experienced ninja. Entering the arena now carried some risk, but it would allow them to probe this man called Tobi. Given how dangerous he was, that small risk was worth taking.
"I never imagined you were not only an outstanding fighter, but also so skilled at training samurai. You've certainly piqued our curiosity." Hizashi Hyuga, the oldest among them, spoke on everyone's behalf. "Since you've offered such a sincere invitation, it would be rude of us to refuse."
"Good. So, which of you would like to try?" Tobi asked with a smile, his gaze never leaving Asuna. "Come to think of it, Miss Flash of Konoha Ninja Village left quite an impression on me last time. I hear she's also the daughter of the village's Hokage. Why not have Miss Flash give it a try?"
Everyone's eyes naturally settled on Asuna. Feeling her companions' gazes, she nodded slightly and said, "All right. I'll test the
