Konoha Ninja Village had established branch hospitals in all the major cities of the Land of Fire to provide medical care for commoners and nobles alike. Since these were not the Konoha Medical Department itself, few actual Medical Ninjas were stationed there. Treatment mainly relied on medication, and even when additional staff were needed, most were trained ordinary people who could not use medical ninjutsu.
The Capital was where the Land of Fire Ruler lived, a symbol of the nation, and naturally had a large population. Its Branch Hospital was therefore quite sizable and staffed by relatively many Medical Ninjas. Its standard of care ranked among the highest of all the Branch Hospitals in the Land of Fire, perhaps even first.
Mizuki rushed into the Branch Hospital with Asuna. Seeing how quickly she charged toward them, the guards at the entrance instinctively stepped forward. Although she wore a Konoha Forehead Protector, they could not lower their guard on that account.
Though the Branch Hospital was less valuable than the Konoha Medical Department, it still housed Medical Ninjas trained by the department. Medical Ninjas were extremely precious resources, and Konoha Ninja Village had the best medical expertise among the Five Great Shinobi Villages. There was no guarantee that spies would not infiltrate the hospital to gather intelligence or murder its Medical Ninjas.
Thus, besides the Medical Ninjas assigned to medical duties, Konoha Ninja Village also stationed Konoha Ninjas there as guards. Alongside experienced ninjas, newly graduated Genin were often sent there for practical training.
"Hello, may I ask who she..." Before the guard approaching them could finish, Mizuki hurriedly interrupted him.
"I'm Uchiha Mizuki, and she's the Hokage's daughter, Kazemori Asuna. Get whoever is in charge of your hospital here and give her the best medical care you have! Hurry!" Mizuki
