Konoha Ninja Village protested the Daimyo Mansion's actions. While asserting its own innocence, it also cast suspicion on the other side—if they refused even to investigate and simply rejected every request, did they have something to hide? Katsuya Uchiha thus became the person Konoha Ninja Village singled out. The evidence collected in the past began circulating beyond the village, exposing Tobi's malicious intentions and raising suspicions that the Daimyo had been placed under genjutsu.
Having maintained good relations with the Daimyo since the Former Daimyo's reign, Konoha Ninja Village could never allow a dangerous individual to remain at his side. A slogan was born: "Purge the ruler's court! Slay the traitor!"
The traitor Konoha Ninja Village referred to was, of course, Katsuya Uchiha. Although Katsuya Uchiha had done a fairly thorough job of keeping his secrets, once he caused such a great disturbance, some things could no longer be concealed. The appearance of the Chakra Samurai, for example, was enough for more perceptive people to sense that something was wrong.
Konoha Ninja Village's explanation linked them to the Evil God Worshippers. In the past, others might not have accepted that claim so readily, and would have harbored at least some doubts. But things were different now. The Daimyo Mansion's actions had already angered many people, and with Konoha Ninja Village now providing this evidence, more began to believe it.
Some local nobles demanded a reasonable explanation from the Daimyo Mansion, but it ignored them entirely and continued gathering troops. Whenever a lord refused to cooperate, the Chakra Samurai seized them without mercy. This deepened suspicions surrounding the Daimyo Mansion while gradually driving the other local nobles outside its reach toward Konoha Ninja Village.
Frankly, the Daimyo Mansion's current actions were truly frightening. It gave no thought to leaving itself any
