Kagami's force consisted mainly of members of the Uchiha Clan and part of the Fourth Division. With forces limited on the Land of Wind front and manpower desperately short, he could not take many people with him. Still, he believed they would be enough to halt the Land of Wind's advance.
This time, Kagami was fully armed. Besides his usual sickle, he had brought the Gunbai. The Sage Tool had been recovered after the battle at the Valley of the End, and Madara would never be able to take it away again.
Zhenghui actually suspected that, if Madara had not taken the Gunbai after coming back to life, Kagami might not have died. After all, its ability to reflect Ninjutsu was astonishing.
