Fang Cheng rubbed his hands together excitedly, itching to rush out and fight those scammers to the death right then.
Tang Shiba patted him, signaling him to calm down. "We're going to raid their base. You know what that means, right? We can't draw attention. We have to keep a low profile!"
Fang Cheng got the idea and grinned as he bragged to Tang Lin. "Just wait here. We'll be back victorious!"
Shanshan called out to him to hurry up and follow. Under Tang Lin's envious gaze, Fang Cheng trotted eagerly after Tang Shiba.
As the room fell quiet, Tang Lin felt a pang of bitterness.
As her older brother, he didn't seem able to help with anything. Was he really that useless?
Seeing how dejected he looked, Han Feng said nothing. He leaned back against the couch and closed his eyes, pretending to sleep.
The three of them sneaked into the Fifth District.
The Fifth District's managers were in the Fourth District fighting over recruits, leaving their own district unsupervised.
Their task was to incite the people in the Fifth District to rise up together.
Tang Shiba gave them a rough outline of the plan. "Keep watch at the entrance to the Fifth District. If those managers come back, fire this signal flare!"
The two tucked the flares into their bags and nodded solemnly. "We'll get the job done!"
Tang Shiba took two face masks out of her bag and told them to put them on. "Go tell everyone to assemble. I'll wait for them on the field!"
They nodded, then unfolded the masks in their hands. When they saw that they looked like the Fifth District's managers, both froze!
