Tang Lin was still out of it. Why? Because he had been scared witless.
It was his first time hearing gunfire at close range. No matter how brave he was, he couldn't help feeling afraid.

Han Feng gradually slowed as his wound kept bleeding. Tang Lin snapped out of his daze and hurried to support him.
"Are you okay?"
Han Feng's entire face had gone white with pain. He shook his head and leaned all his weight on Tang Lin.
Tang Lin said nothing. Some scores could be settled later. The injured came first!
Tang Shiba led the way, with the two of them running behind her.
As they ran, Han Feng gradually found himself unable to keep going.
Tang Lin quickly crouched down, his meaning clear. "Get on. I'll carry you!"
Han Feng was trembling all over with pain, but he still couldn't help asking, "Because I saved you, and you feel guilty?"
"Yes!"
Tang Lin answered swiftly and decisively. Furious, Han Feng lifted his leg and kicked him. "Keep your fake kindness. I can walk on my own!"
He strode ahead. Tang Lin stood up and tried to help him, only to have his hand slapped away. "Don't touch me. Get lost!"

Han Feng started sulking and refused to let Tang Lin support him, no matter what he said. With no other choice, Tang Lin told his sister that Han Feng couldn't run anymore.
