Fan Li hated using his brain. Most of the time, he only thought things through because anomaly events forced him to.
Rubbing his head, Fan Li parted his lips slightly. "Gao Ming... do you still remember me?"
The door wasn't fully open. Dressed in his high school uniform, Gao Ming watched Fan Li warily. He said nothing, but his gaze was unmistakably the way someone looked at a stranger.
"I know you've forgotten a lot of things. You're in danger right now. Some unknown horror could come at any moment." Fan Li tried to make his words as easy to understand as possible, but Gao Ming looked at him as though he were mentally ill.
"Could you let me in? I can feel something unclean approaching. It's too dangerous out in the hallway." Fan Li wore a bitter smile. He had imagined all sorts of dangers Gao Ming might face, but this situation had never occurred to him.
Gao Ming tightened his grip, ready to shut the door. Fan Li panicked. Unafraid of the pain, he grabbed the doorframe.
"I'm really not lying! You've forgotten a lot of things! You saved my life, and this time I'm here to help you!" Fan Li refused to give up this opportunity. "My name is Fan Li. Think carefully. You once said I was someone worth trusting, and that I had enormous potential I didn't even know about."
Gao Ming stared at Fan Li's face. Seeing him cling stubbornly to the door, he finally couldn't help speaking. "Then tell me exactly what I've forgotten."
"Anomaly events broke out, and now Hanhai is full of strange tales. You created the Deadwater Forum and led all the ghost story players in fighting the ghosts and monsters!" Fan Li grew excited as he spoke, while the
