Xu Huan had imagined all sorts of possibilities, but Wu Ji's story was still too shocking. He looked at Old Ma, who was leisurely munching on a carrot, and felt that sometimes being a horse wasn't so bad.

"If that really is your former lover, what are you going to do?"

Xu Huan sucked in a sharp breath and waved both hands. "Calm down first. I also have something very important to tell you, about Time's identity."
"Flesh and blood won't lie to me." Wu Ji seemed to have made up her mind. Nothing Xu Huan said would change it.
"I investigated Doctor Gao thoroughly and read every file about him in the future. Two members of his family were shrouded in mystery: his father and his grandmother." Xu Huan spoke rapidly, afraid Wu Ji would interrupt him. "I never met his father, even up until I was killed, and I never saw any photos or information about him. But I found half a photograph of his grandmother in the First Rehabilitation Hospital's archive."
"A long time ago, Doctor Gao's grandmother left their home and was sent to a psychiatric hospital! She tried every possible way to escape, but all of them failed.
