Without stopping, Gao Ming stepped onto the emblem of Hanhai Blood City, his eyes fixed squarely on Doctor Gao.
Unlike four years ago, Gao Ming was no longer a puppet for others to control, even without the Flesh-and-Blood Immortal's help.
"When you became a Blood City Lord, I told you we weren't enemies." Doctor Gao rarely spoke, but Gao Ming seemed to be an exception. "The suffering you endured was originally meant for me."
When Gao Ming gave no answer, Doctor Gao continued, "You trapped the Unknowables in the Delusion World for four years. Though I hate to admit it, you did far better than I did."
Gao Ming had no idea which of Doctor Gao's words were true and which were false. His feelings toward the man were complicated. All the suffering he had endured could be traced back to Doctor Gao, yet it was also because of Doctor Gao that he, once utterly ordinary, had become the Lord of Hanhai Blood City, step by step, and gained the power to control his own fate.
He did not particularly hate Doctor Gao, but if he had a chance to strike, he would kill him without hesitation. That man was too dangerous, too abnormal.
"Hanhai Blood City's reserves haven't recovered yet. I'm here to help you become a pillar." With that, Doctor Gao walked alone to the edge of Hanhai Blood City's emblem, drove his chains burning with sin karma into it, and began sacrificing his own power.
Gao Ming said nothing throughout. He gently touched his beating heart. Drops of blood trickled from the scars on his chest, and countless nightmares poured into Hanhai Blood City's emblem.
Hanhai Blood City within the black fog seemed to sense something. The roars of Dream Ghosts echoed through the Deep World, and
