With Ning Shile and Zheng Ye on board, Back to 80 had a million viewers signed up for its premiere.
The variety show would be livestreamed first, then edited for television broadcast later.
At eight sharp, the production crew arrived at the Zheng Family residence, loaded down with cameras and equipment.
The butler invited them in, and the housekeeper served them tea.
"Are you here to take Lele to the show?" the housekeeper asked, hiding the cakes she had prepared behind her back.

"Oh, thank you!" Her little desserts were beautifully made, came in all sorts of flavors, and looked even better than anything from a bakery. Flattered by the unexpected hospitality, the crew accepted them. "Thank you, ma'am."
"No need to thank me." But the housekeeper did have something to ask in return. Lowering her voice, she added, "Our Lele is a good boy. Please take good care of him."
The crew nodded and answered with a smile, "Don't worry, ma'am. We run a very professional show."
The cameraman panned around the Zheng Family mansion. The livestream's viewer count climbed, and comments scrolled across the screen:

[Please let me spend a night there!]
