Yan Wen startled and quietly tried to pull his hand out of Mo Chengzhou's grasp.
But instead of letting go, Mo Chengzhou held on even tighter.
Helpless, Yan Wen could only let Mo Chengzhou lead him over to sit on the sofa.
Once they sat down, Mo Chengzhou finally released his hand, but they were sitting so close that their arms were practically touching.
Yan Wen gave an awkward chuckle. "Dad, you're home early today."
Mu Xingfeng's gaze swept over their faces. "Yes, after being busy for so many days, I finally have some time to relax. What's the situation between you two now? How are things going?"
Too embarrassed to say it outright, Yan Wen stammered, "Well... we've done what we can do. We haven't done what we can't do yet."
Mo Chengzhou solemnly promised, "Uncle, I won't do that sort of thing with Yan Wen before he graduates. Once he graduates, we'll get married."
Mu Xingfeng's expression grew serious. "Xiao Wen is only a freshman. There are still three years to go. Are you sure you can wait that long? What if you change your mind halfway through? What will Xiao Wen do then?"
"I won't!" Mo Chengzhou couldn't help raising his voice. "Forget three years. Even if it were thirteen years, or thirty, I'd still be willing to wait. Uncle, if you're worried, I can transfer half the businesses under my name to Yan Wen."
Mu Xingfeng smiled and waved a hand. "There's no need for that. Keep that money so you two can build a good life together."
Yan Wen was visibly delighted. "Dad, does that mean you approve of us?"
"Could I possibly disapprove? You might as well stick the words 'I love Mo Chengzhou' on yourself. Anyone with eyes can see it."
