Background / History

Xie Yunshu is the wife of Mu Xingfeng, the head of the Mu family’s company. Their youngest biological son, Yan Wen, disappeared at the age of two. Two years later, Xingfeng adopted Mu Huai’an from an orphanage because he could not bear to see Yunshu grieving continually. The couple nevertheless continued searching for Yan Wen throughout his sixteen-year absence 1 21 66 116.

Yunshu raised Huai’an as her own child for fourteen years. She later admits that she instinctively favored him even after Yan Wen returned, and insists that she never denied him anything her biological children received 36.

When Yan Wen comes home, Yunshu personally welcomes him and takes him upstairs to his room. A paternity test performed on the day of his return confirms his identity. She begins rebuilding their relationship through meals, shopping, gifts, and family celebrations 1 2 3 7.
