Three days after returning, Mo Chengzhou planned to visit the office.
After breakfast in the dining room, Mo Chengzhou went to the Study to get things ready. Yan Wen finished his remaining egg and followed him.
The curtains in the Study were drawn. A computer sat on the desk, a bookcase stood against one wall, and a brown leather sofa rested against the other.
Mo Chengzhou searched for something at his desk while Yan Wen sat on the sofa, his gaze following him the whole time.
Mo Chengzhou asked, "I'm heading to the office in a bit. Want to come with me?"
Yan Wen lay on his stomach on the sofa, dangling a hand over the edge and tracing circles on the floor.
"You really want me to come to the office with you? Is that okay?"
"You're my boyfriend. Why wouldn't it be okay to bring you to the office?" Mo Chengzhou walked over. "The floor's dirty. Don't touch it. Make some room for me."
"Oh." Yan Wen pushed himself up and sat properly. Mo Chengzhou settled beside him, still holding two documents.
"What are those?"
"They need to be kept at the office. I forgot about them while I was busy with the dealership. Since I'm going back today, I might as well take them along."
Yan Wen glanced down at his clothes and sprang to his feet. "No, I need to go change. Give me two minutes!"
With that, Yan Wen dashed out of the Study. Watching him race off like a gust of wind, Mo Chengzhou's lips curved into a faint smile.
Yan Wen went back to his room and rummaged through his suitcase for ages before finally finding a suitable outfit.
By the time Yan Wen changed and left his room, the car was waiting
