An Ice Beam formed in Poliwhirl's mouth, and he spat it out forcefully, firing it at Exeggutor ahead.
Upon hearing Xiao Wei's command, Cloyster also drew in a large amount of Ice-type energy, gathering it on the spike atop his head.
Under Cloyster's control, the vast amount of Ice-type energy became a multicolored Aurora Beam. Once formed, it joined the Ice Beam, hurtling toward Exeggutor with tremendous force.
"Exeggutor, counter with Bullet Seed!"
Seeing the attacks coming, Zhou Bai knew Exeggutor would struggle to dodge them. He immediately chose to counter with Bullet Seed, which was super effective against Water types.
Exeggutor began frantically absorbing Grass-type energy, gathering a large amount above his head. Under his control, the energy then turned into seeds that shot toward Poliwhirl.

Lin Yun also commanded Starmie to join Exeggutor in attacking their opponent's Poliwhirl.
Both sides wanted to focus their attacks on a single opposing Pokémon.
The gem at the center of Starmie's body flashed, and a vast amount of energy turned into five-pointed stars that flew toward Poliwhirl.
Poliwhirl was hit by Bullet Seed and Swift.
Since Swift did not share Starmie's type, it was not especially powerful. Most of the damage Poliwhirl took came from Bullet Seed, which was super effective against Water types.
After that round of attacks, Poliwhirl lost nearly a third of his HP.
Meanwhile, Exeggutor was also struck by Ice Beam and Aurora Beam.
