Politoed gathered the Ice-type energy throughout its body, forming a cold white beam in its mouth.
Once the beam took shape, it shot toward Ivysaur with tremendous force.
At the same time, Cloyster received its Trainer's command and quickly gathered Ice-type energy on the spike atop its head.
Under Cloyster's control, the mass of Ice-type energy became a rainbow-colored beam that swept toward Ivysaur, radiating a biting chill.
"Ivysaur, use Giga Drain on Politoed!"
Seeing his opponents attack again, Xiang Liang refused to back down and ordered Ivysaur to use Giga Drain.
Ivysaur quickly gathered Grass-type energy in the flower bud on its back. The bud transformed the energy it absorbed into pale green tendrils.
Under Ivysaur's control, these tendrils rushed toward Politoed.
"Combusken, let's use Brick Break on Politoed!"
Xiang Chen ordered Combusken to keep attacking Politoed.
Upon hearing Xiang Chen's command, Combusken quickly absorbed the surrounding Fighting-type Energy.
A large amount of Fighting-type Energy gathered in Combusken's palm. Once it had gathered enough energy, Combusken charged forward, its hand like a blade as it chopped viciously at Politoed.
All four Pokémon launched their attacks at once.
The combined attack of Ice Beam and Aurora Beam severely injured Ivysaur, leaving it with less than a third of its HP.
Ice Beam also triggered its freezing effect when it struck Ivysaur, freezing it in place and leaving it unable to move.
Meanwhile, Politoed first took damage from Giga Drain, which reduced its HP to half. Combusken's Brick Break followed immediately afterward, knocking its HP below half as well.
