Under Zheng Hao's guidance, the two arrived at the Jade River, then followed it upstream.
According to Zheng Hao, there was a hidden cave in the upper reaches of the Jade River, and the Evolution Crystal was inside it.
It took the three nearly two hours to reach the upper reaches of the Jade River. With Zheng Hao leading them, they found a dense forest.
"Once we get through this forest, we'll reach our destination." Zheng Hao's expression turned grave. "Let's send out all our Pokémon first, in case Aggron ambushes us."
Even without Zheng Hao's reminder, Zhang Cheng and Yuwen Tian knew what to do. All three released their Pokémon and began heading deeper into the forest.
The forest wasn't very large, and they passed through it in about ten minutes. There were some wild Grass-type Pokémon among the trees, but most quickly abandoned any thoughts of attacking when they saw the Pokémon accompanying the three.
Beyond the forest stood a huge cave entrance. Thick bushes concealed the area around it, making it a truly secluded spot.
"Everyone, get ready to fight. Aggron could attack us at any moment." With his wealth of experience, Zheng Hao reminded them once again before they entered the cave.
Zhang Cheng had already stationed Poliwrath beside him, ready to use Protect the instant Aggron attacked.
The cave's interior was roughly as expansive as the forest. After walking for a while, the three finally reached its deepest section, where they spotted Aggron.
Aggron was sleeping on top of a massive rock. The three made very little noise and didn't wake him.
"See the Evolution Crystal? It's in that hollow in the rock above Aggron's head!" Zheng Hao spotted the crystal immediately and spoke to the other two in a low voice, suppressing his excitement.
