"Swellow, use Air Slash!"
Faced with Poliwrath's incoming attack, Lin Peng chose to have Swellow meet it head-on. Swellow's specialty, Flying-type moves, could deal heavy damage to Poliwrath. He had to seize this opportunity; playing it safe would give him no chance to turn the battle around.
Swellow was bold and showed no fear of Poliwrath's attack. Swellow rapidly beat those wings, gathering a dense concentration of Flying-type energy.
A vast amount of Flying-type energy surged in and, under Swellow's control, formed a powerful blade that slashed toward the charging Poliwrath.
Poliwrath kept charging forward and crashed straight into Swellow's Air Slash.
Struck by Swellow's powerful same-type attack, Poliwrath's HP plummeted, leaving only a quarter remaining.
After taking that Air Slash head-on, Poliwrath continued pressing forward at full power and slammed hard into Swellow.
Although Poliwrath's Waterfall wasn't super effective against Swellow, the boosts from the Mystic Water and the same-type attack bonus still made its damage considerable.
That Waterfall stripped away two-fifths of Swellow's HP.
The current situation wasn't looking good for Poliwrath. Poliwrath's remaining HP was already dangerously low.
"Swellow, use Fly again!"
Lin Peng chose the safest approach, ordering Swellow to attack with Fly.
While using Fly, Swellow would be high in the sky. Under those circumstances, even if Poliwrath attacked, the attack wouldn't connect, keeping Swellow safe.
Swellow flapped those wings with practiced ease and shot rapidly into the sky.
A vast amount of Flying-type energy surged toward the rapidly ascending Swellow, filling Swellow's entire body with offensive power.
Once the Flying-type energy had gathered to its fullest extent, Swellow's eyes turned fierce, and Swellow aimed straight at Poliwrath below and attacked.

Facing Swellow's Fly, Zhang Cheng knew a direct attack would be unlikely to land. To
