Espeon was sent flying by Swampert's Waterfall, its HP rapidly draining to zero. It crashed to the ground, unable to battle.

"Come back, Espeon." Duan Hong took out a Poké Ball and recalled the defeated Espeon.

"You're really strong. I have no complaints about losing to you," Duan Hong said, acknowledging Zhang Cheng's strength.

"Your Pokémon are all strong too. I'm sure we'll get another chance to face each other in future competitions. Let's have another good battle then," Zhang Cheng said sincerely.

They were well-matched opponents who respected each other, and by the end of the match, they had become friends.
