After weathering Delphox's assault, Pidgeot beat its wings and unleashed all its strength to launch Brave Bird.
A vast surge of Flying-type energy slammed into Delphox along with Pidgeot, knocking away a third of Delphox's HP.
Even without its held item, Pidgeot still dealt Delphox a heavy blow. Brave Bird was immensely powerful, and Pidgeot put it to excellent use.
"Delphox, use Heat Wave!"
Li Han continued directing Delphox's attacks. Pidgeot's HP was very low now, so she planned to abandon defense for the moment and focus entirely on attacking it.
Delphox understood its Trainer's intentions. It abandoned defense outright and gathered the Fire-type energy around it with all its strength.
Under Delphox's control, the vast quantity of Fire-type energy became a wave of scorching air, its extreme heat giving it formidable offensive power.
Once Heat Wave took shape, Delphox opened its mouth and expelled a powerful gust, driving waves of scorching air toward Pidgeot.
"Pidgeot, use Brave Bird again!"
Li Han intended to clash head-on, and Zhang Cheng was more than willing to oblige. He promptly ordered Pidgeot to retaliate with another powerful Brave Bird.
Pidgeot had suffered recoil from its previous Brave Bird, leaving it with less than a third of its HP. It would struggle to withstand Delphox's assault, so Zhang Cheng simply had Pidgeot mount a defense as well and trade attacks with Delphox.

Pidgeot knew it would struggle to withstand Delphox's incoming attack. Upon receiving Zhang Cheng's command, it frantically gathered Flying-type energy.
As Pidgeot continued exerting itself, all the surrounding Flying-type energy gathered around it. After concentrating every bit of that energy on its body, it beat its wings and launched Brave Bird at Delphox on the
