With Mega Diancie keeping him company on the journey back, Zhang Cheng never felt bored. The hours flew by, and he soon arrived in Modu.
After returning to Modu, Zhang Cheng went to the Pokémon Center first and handed his injured Pokémon, including Moltres, over to the medical staff for treatment.
The Pokémon doctor was astonished to find a seriously injured Moltres among Zhang Cheng's Pokémon, but asked no questions and quickly sent them off for treatment.
"I'm hungry, Daddy!" Nestled in Zhang Cheng's arms, Mega Diancie rubbed her little belly and spoke pitifully.
"Then let's go buy something to eat first. It'll probably take a while for their injuries to heal completely," Zhang Cheng said after a moment's thought.
Mega Diancie nodded, agreeing to Zhang Cheng's plan.
Zhang Cheng took Mega Diancie to the Pokémon Shop and let her choose the food she liked.
Mega Diancie's eyes lit up as soon as they entered the Pokémon Shop. She flew straight out of Zhang Cheng's arms and quickly returned with a huge pile of snacks.
"You shouldn't eat too many of those snacks. How about Pokéblocks instead?" Zhang Cheng said, looking at the snacks in Mega Diancie's arms.
Pokéblocks were the best food for Pokémon, containing all the nutrients they needed while also tasting delicious.
"No way! I'm sick of eating Pokéblocks every day. I have clear body, so how could these snacks affect my health?" Mega Diancie clutched her snacks and shook her head like a rattle.
"All right, we'll listen to Diancie and buy them all to take home," Zhang Cheng said with a smile, unable to resist her pleading.
"Okay, I'll go get more!" Hearing Zhang Cheng say she could buy more, Diancie narrowed her large, jewel-like eyes into crescents and flew toward the snacks on the
